Es Trenc is one of the best-known beaches in Mallorca: a long stretch of pale sand and clear water on the south-east coast, inside a protected natural park. It is on the other side of the island from Alcúdia, so it works best as a day trip by car.

Good to know

  • Parking: parking near the beach is limited and usually paid, so arrive early in summer.
  • Prepare for a natural beach: bring water, shade and snacks, and take your litter with you.
  • Naturism: parts of the beach, especially towards ses Covetes, are traditionally used by naturists.
  • Protect the dunes: stay on the marked paths.

Getting there from Alcúdia

From Alcúdia this is a day trip by road. You can rent a car or a van for the family or the group, or arrange an airport transfer on arrival. Travelling with little ones? Ask about baby and family gear rental.
