Playa de Muro is a long, fine-sand beach on the Bay of Alcúdia, in the north-east of Mallorca. It lies between Port d’Alcúdia and Can Picafort, so it is one of the easiest beaches to reach from our villas and apartments in Alcúdia. It is also the start and finish of the Mallorca 312 cycling event.

Good to know

  • Families: the water is shallow for a long way out and the services are complete, which is why it is a popular choice with children.
  • Space: its length usually leaves room for everyone, but the car parks near the main accesses fill up on busy days, so go early.
  • Safety: check the flag colour on the day. A red flag means no swimming.
